In this intensive one-day workshop, you’ll gain a solid foundation in documentary storytelling. You’ll learn how to shape an idea into a story, practice simple filming techniques, and explore the basics of montage editing and sound. Through hands-on exercises and guided reflection, you’ll build confidence in using your phone/camera as a storytelling tool. By the end of the day, you’ll leave with practical skills, fresh inspiration, and a clearer sense of how to begin crafting your own documentary stories.

Two-Day Workshop - 300 GBP
Building on Day 1, this immersive two-day workshop takes you deeper into the craft. You’ll explore what a target audience is, how to test your film for festivals and showcases, develop your story idea more profoundly, practice additional filming techniques, and begin editing your film on a timeline using Canva, the free video editor. You will leave with stronger practical skills, a clearer sense of your voice as a filmmaker, and the confidence to begin to create a compelling, professional-quality documentary story.
